This facility exemplifies the pinnacle of solar manufacturing, with a 95% automated assembly line and over 50 AI-enabled checkpoints that maintain a 98% accuracy rate. Its rapid welding process, completed in a mere 14 seconds per cycle, and the use of top-tier testing and production equipment, position Imperial Star Solar at the forefront of efficiency and quality in PV module production.
Additionally, the facility employs five top-of-the-line double-chamber solar laminators with automatic double glass tooling cyclers, reinforcing Imperial Star Solar's commitment to delivering quality solar panels. This advanced technology, along with the leading production line, enables Imperial Star Solar to produce and dispatch 8000 modules daily.
Securing Domestic Content Partnerships
Imperial Star Solar has forged strategic relationships with multiple domestic suppliers to produce domestic content-eligible modules for the U.S. market. Our recent partnership with Suniva, a leading U.S. manufacturer of high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cells, enables us to produce domestic content eligible modules starting in early 2025.
By prioritizing domestic content such as Cells, Frame, Encapsulant, Junction Box, and Silicone Glue, Imperial Star Solar advances domestic content % according to the IRA's regulations and the Safe Harbor rules.
Expanding the integrated supply chain
